Metacam Oral for Cats (Meloxicam)

Metacam 0.5 mg/mL Oral Suspension for Cats and Guinea Pigs

Active Constituent: Meloxicam 0.5 mg/mL

Indications:

• Alleviation of inflammation and pain in acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders such as discospondylosis, arthropathy, and soft tissue injuries in cats.
• Alleviation of mild to moderate post-operative pain associated with soft tissue surgery, such as castration, in guinea pigs.

Dosage and Administration:

Always give as directed by your veterinarian.

Contraindications:

• Do not use in pregnant or lactating animals.
• Do not use in cats under 6 weeks of age or guinea pigs under 4 weeks of age.
• Contraindicated in animals with cardiac, hepatic, or renal disease, gastrointestinal ulceration, or haemorrhagic disorders.

Storage: Store below 25°C. Discard unused product 6 months after opening.
