Meloxicam for Dogs Oral

Description:

This is a prescription medication. Before purchasing it, your veterinarian must have issued a prescription. Always give as directed by your veterinarian. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and store as directed. 

ilium Meloxicam 1.5 Oral Suspension for Dogs

Active Ingredient:
1.5 mg/mL meloxicam

Uses:
For the alleviation of inflammation and pain in both acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders, including discospondylosis, arthropathy, and soft tissue injuries.

Dosage and Administration:

• Shake well before use.
• Administer mixed with food.
• Give as directed by your veterinarian.
• Use the enclosed measuring syringe for accurate dosing.
• Discard any unused portion 6 months after first opening.

Contraindications:
Not suitable for use in animals less than 6 weeks old, pregnant or lactating bitches in the last third of pregnancy, or animals with cardiac, hepatic, renal disease, gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding disorders, or hypersensitivity to NSAIDs.

Precautions:
Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs, corticosteroids, aminoglycoside antibiotics, or anticoagulants.

Side Effects:
Common side effects may include gastrointestinal issues such as vomiting, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, and apathy. In rare cases, these may be severe. Discontinue use if symptoms persist.

Storage:
Store below 25°C (air conditioning).
