Loxicom Oral for Dogs (Meloxicam)

Loxicom 1.5 mg/ml Oral Suspension for Dogs

Active Ingredient: Meloxicam 1.5 mg/mL

Indications:
Loxicom is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for use in dogs. It is indicated for the alleviation of inflammation and pain in both acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders, including conditions such as disco-spondylosis, arthropathy, and soft tissue injuries.

Dosage & Administration:

• Shake well before use.
• Administer with food.
• Initial dose: 0.2 mg/kg bodyweight (2 maintenance volumes).
• Maintenance dose: 0.1 mg/kg bodyweight (1 maintenance volume).
• Continue the maintenance dose every 24 hours.

Storage:
Store below 25ºC. Once opened, use within 6 months or discard.

Precautions:
People with known hypersensitivity to NSAIDs should avoid contact with meloxicam. It is contraindicated for women who are pregnant. Wash hands after use, and rinse any areas of skin that come into contact with the product.

Contraindications:
Do not use in pregnant or lactating bitches in the last third of pregnancy, or in dogs with gastrointestinal disorders, impaired liver or kidney function, or bleeding disorders.

Warning:
If no improvement is seen after 10 days of treatment, consult your veterinarian.

Important note: Loxicom bottle sizes 10ml, 32ml, and 100ml are for dogs only.
