Metacoxx Oral Suspension for Cats (0.5 mg/mL Meloxicam)

Metacoxx is an oral suspension formulated to alleviate inflammation and pain in cats suffering from acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders.

Active Ingredient:

• Meloxicam 0.5 mg/mL

• Provides relief from inflammation and pain in musculoskeletal conditions.
• Easy to administer either with food or directly into the cat’s mouth.
• Includes a dosing syringe for precise administration.

Dosage and Administration:

• Shake well before use.
• Initial dose: 0.1 mg of meloxicam per kg body weight (equivalent to 0.2 mL per kg).
• Maintenance dose: 0.05 mg of meloxicam per kg body weight (equivalent to 0.1 mL per kg) every 24 hours.
• Use the contents within 3 months of opening.
• Discard any unused portion.

Storage Instructions:

• Store below 25°C and protect from light.

Safety Information:

• Harmful if swallowed. May irritate the eyes and skin. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Pregnant women and those with hypersensitivity to NSAIDs should avoid contact with this product. Wear disposable gloves when handling. Wash hands after use. In case of accidental skin contact, rinse thoroughly with water.

First Aid:

• In case of poisoning, contact a doctor or the Poisons Information Centre (New Zealand: 0800 764 766).

Disposal:

• Dispose of the container by wrapping it in paper and placing it in the garbage.
