Indications:
Dogs: For the treatment of stereotypic behaviours (obsessive-compulsive disorders) such as acral lick dermatitis, excessive grooming, and tail chasing. Clomicalm is also used as an aid in the treatment of anxiety disorders, including destructiveness, excessive vocalisation, and loss of toilet control associated with separation anxiety.
Cats: Clomicalm 5 is used as an aid in the treatment of urine spraying in desexed and female cats.
Dosage and Administration:
Give as directed by your veterinarian.
Precautions:
Use with caution in dogs and cats with cardiac arrhythmias, epilepsy, or glaucoma. Avoid use in animals with a history of aggressive behaviour. Not recommended for breeding or lactating animals unless the benefit outweighs the risk.
Side Effects:
Mild, transient side effects such as sedation, anorexia, or vomiting may occur, which may be reduced by administering with food. In rare cases, urinary retention may occur in cats.
Storage:
Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep unused product in its original container.
