Key Benefits
Usage Instructions
Precautions
1. What is Pimobendan and how does it work? Pimobendan increases the force of the heart's contractions and dilates blood vessels. This dual action improves cardiac output and reduces the symptoms associated with heart failure.
2. How long will my dog need to take Cardisure Flavoured Tablets? Many dogs will need to take this medication for the rest of their lives.
3. Can Cardisure be given with other medications? Yes, Cardisure can often be given alongside other medications prescribed by your veterinarian, including diuretics and ACE inhibitors. Always inform your vet about any other medications your dog is taking.
4. What should I do if I miss a dose? If you miss a dose, give it as soon as you remember. If it is close to the time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume the regular schedule. Do not give a double dose to make up for a missed one.
5. Are there any dietary restrictions while my dog is on Cardisure? There are no specific dietary restrictions associated with Cardisure, but maintaining a balanced and healthy diet is essential for dogs with heart disease. Consult your veterinarian for dietary recommendations tailored to your dog’s condition.
